You may want a formal look to your front yard, but a more casual, family-friendly backyard experience. Whatever you desire, The Nature’s Perspective team designs to meet your tastes and budget, while taking note of your home’s unique features and existing site conditions.

From small projects to large, our design team will transform your yard using their extensive knowledge of plants, paving and landscape design. Our design team is versatile, knowledgeable and experienced. We are able to furnish preliminary designs, full working drawings, designs for phased or immediate work, designs for a small area of your property or all of it. Computer-aided designs, 3-D visualizations and flythroughs are tools we can use to help your garden vision come alive.

We also provide on-site garden consultations to go over issues you would like to address. A designer will meet you at home when it is convenient for you, and most consultations can be conducted in one hour or less.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

The first step in our process is to discuss your needs, desires and details of your project. This will allow us to get a better understanding of your goals. We ask that a plat of survey be made available. The plat of survey will assist us in creating your design and will be needed if a permit is required.

We will then perform a detailed site survey of the area to be developed, taking into account such things as soil and light conditions, existing plant material, structures and grade changes.

Typically, there is no cost or obligation to you for a design concept and/or an estimate. For larger or more complex projects, a design retainer is required. This design retainer will be credited toward the cost of your project.

Your designer will develop a creative and functional solution that incorporates the site’s existing conditions with your needs and desires. Depending on the scope of work, you may be presented with a plan view design of your space. The design will specify quantity, types and placement of landscape features and plantings in position relative to foundation and/or property lines, along with a breakdown of costs to implement the project. Complex and intricate projects may involve use of a photorealistic rendering or 3-D computer-aided rendering, to further enhance visualization of the project.
