Nature’s Perspective Landscaping has been in business since 1979, fully licensed, bonded and insured.
We are a member of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA), a professional organization committed to best practices in landscaping.
We use high quality landscape equipment and machinery that are well-kept and well-maintained. Our uniformed maintenance crews are courteous, well-trained and expedient. Supervisors each possess more than 15 years’ experience with our company, and are supervised by ILCA Certified Landscape Technicians. Together, they work to pro-actively monitor landscapes to address potential problems, such as insect/disease diagnosis, pruning needs and hazardous situations. Our maintenance manager can meet you on-site to determine a program for your property.
Our All-Inclusive Landscape Maintenance package includes the following applications and services to keep your landscape investment well-maintained and looking its best. It is billed in eight (8) fixed monthly payments a year, from April through November.
LAWN AND BED FERTILIZATION
We fertilize in spring, summer and fall, giving your lawn and bed plants essential nutrients to thrive.
ORGANIC FERTILIZATION AND SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
We use eco-friendly, organic lawn and bed fertilizers and pest controls that are safe around children and pets upon application.
MULCH AND COMPOST
We install yearly applications of mulch and compost benefit plants and add beauty to your garden. Shredded bark inhibits weeds, conserves water and insulates trees and shrub roots in winter. Compost naturally fertilizes perennials and improves soil.
PRUNING OF ORNAMENTAL TREES AND SHRUBS
We prune as needed to improve the form and function of your trees and shrubs. Formal and informal treatments are available.
We apply weed control in spring and fall to prevent unsightly broad-leaved and grass-like weeds from appearing on your lawn.
CORE AERATION AND POWER RAKING
Done in fall, core aerating relieves soil compaction on your lawn and promotes strong root growth. We power rake to break up soil cores after core aerating.
In spring and late summer, we fill in bare spots on your lawn with endophyte-treated grass seed.
A spring clean-up gets your landscape started in the spring. Fall clean-ups remove leaf debris and get your garden ready for the winter. And we recycle fallen leaves into beds, when possible.
In addition to our all-inclusive landscape maintenance, we also offer the following services:
PLANT HEALTH CARE
We offer integrated pest management and preventative applications to control pests and prevent diseases in your lawn, small plantings, shrubs, ornamental trees, large trees and evergreens.
LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE
Our low-voltage lighting maintenance program is designed to keep your lighting system performing well all year round. Each spring and fall, every aspect of your system is checked and timers are adjusted for time changes. In addition, the program covers the cost of service calls if problems arise between the regularly scheduled maintenance visits.
We restore your hardscaping by raising settled or sunken areas. We clean and seal walks, driveways and patios.
We clean your pond and start your pump in spring, troubleshoot problems that may arise and shut it down for the winter.
SEASONAL COLOR DISPLAYS
Each season, we add color to your landscape by installing your beds and planters with spring-flowering bulbs, annuals in spring, summer and fall, and evergreen boughs and berried branches in winter.
